Meet the North Hanover Township Board of Education

William C. Sullivan, Sr.
President

Term: 2023-2025

Mr. Sullivan is a 55+ year resident of the North Hanover Township Community.  He has served on the school board for over 38 years and has served as President multiple times. He is a delegate to The New Jersey School Boards Association and Burlington County School Boards Association. He has been a member of the N.J.S.B.A. Legislative Committee for over 15 years.  Mr. Sullivan earned the distinction of a Master School Board Member by the N.J.S.B.A. and was honored by the Burlington County School Boards Association as School Board Member of the Year in 2007. Mr. Sullivan is an ardent supporter of the Arts and Humanities in our schools.

Jody Tallone
Board Member
Term: 2023

Mrs. Tallone is a 12+ year resident of North Hanover Township.  She has been a certificated teacher for almost 20 years and is currently a business teacher for the Sequoia Alternative Program at the Lenape Regional High School District. She was a marketing industry professional for 10 years prior to entering the teaching profession. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut and a teaching certification from National University.   


Jody lives with her husband, Anthony, and their two daughters who just completed their entire K-6 elementary experience in North Hanover schools.  She also has a stepdaughter and granddaughter who reside in Burlington County.  She strongly believes in giving back and has volunteered for the Princeton Medical Center, a variety of animal organizations, including GRRI-NJ, and as a recreational soccer & basketball coach.  She is excited to be a part of the North Hanover Board of Education to help contribute to its mission of equipping our students with the skills they need to reach their potential so they can become productive, responsible, and compassionate members of society.  Jody enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, hiking, and any outdoor activity in her free time.
