Deniese Guinan has dedicated 22 years to the field of education. She earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Arcadia University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgian Court University. Before assuming her role as the Director of Curriculum in North Hanover, her career included roles as a teacher, supervisor, and principal.
Mrs. Guinan began her teaching career in 2002, advanced to early childhood/elementary supervisor in 2015, and was promoted to principal in 2018. Her career has focused on ensuring consistent instructional practices from pre-K through 6th grade, with a special emphasis on enhancing foundational practices to improve the educational experience for students in Pre-K through third grade.
Mrs. Guinan is an active member of the Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has also taught the Curriculum & Assessment course for aspiring administrators at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has hosted numerous professional development sessions for teachers, focusing on literacy instruction, creating enriching classroom environments, and differentiated instructional practices.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, running, and attending sporting events. She is enthusiastic about joining the North Hanover educational community and is dedicated to ensuring that students receive the best possible education.
