As Interim Superintendent, Dr. Sarruda provides the educational leadership for the three schools and 1400 students of the North Hanover Township Community. This includes directing the formulation of district-wide goals, plans, policies, and budgets, and recommending their approval by the district board of education. Additionally, the Superintendent directs the district-wide implementation of the strategies and activities to meet district goals.
The Superintendent is authorized to recommend all staff appointments and other personnel actions, such as terminations, suspensions, and compensation for approval by the district board of education. He is also charged with directing district operations and programs, and supervising and evaluating building administrators and central office staff. His duties also include overseeing of the administration and supervision of school-level operations, staff, and programs.
