Included in this letter, you will find everything you need to help your family get off to a smooth and successful start. This includes how to access the Parent Portal, important transportation details, lunch menu information, student handbooks, and the schedule for our “Meet the Teacher” event on September 3rd.

HOMEROOM ASSIGNMENTS:
Homeroom assignments will be available in the Parent Portal on Friday, August 29th at 3:00 p.m.
TRANSPORTATION AND BUS PASSES:
Our district is fortunate to be able to provide a seat on a bus for every student. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the district provided transportation, as it offers the safest and most efficient arrival and dismissal experience for students.
Our district does not mail out paper bus passes. Your child’s busing information will be visible in the parent portal when it opens on August 29th. Please contact Danielle Wood at [email protected], if you have any questions regarding student transportation.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
Thursday, September 4, 2025 is the first day of school for all students. Lunch will be served in all schools. Click here to navigate to our food menus web page where the September 2025 menus will be posted prior to the start of school.
MEET YOUR TEACHER:
All parents and students are invited to “Meet Your Teacher” Open House on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The schedule for this is as follows:

PARENT PORTAL:
If you are new to the district, you will receive an email on Friday, August 29th prior to 3:00 p.m. that contains Parent Portal login information and instructions. Returning families will be able to log in to the Parent Portal at 3:00 p.m. on 8/29 with your existing credentials. If you do not remember your password, please use the "Forgot My Password" link on the login page. If you have any technical difficulties with the Parent Portal, please email Lisa Quackenboss at [email protected].
There are several electronic forms that we would like you to complete in the Parent Portal. Some of the forms are required; therefore, you will not have full portal access until the required forms are submitted.
SCHOOL HANDBOOK:
Each school has a handbook of important information that parents must review prior to the opening of school. These handbooks answer important questions about school hours, contact information, student drop off and pick up and other day to day practices specific to the school your child attends. The links to those handbooks are here.
Once you have reviewed the handbook(s), you should complete the form in the parent portal that affirms you have done so. The next section outlines when you will receive parent portal access.
