Kim Varava is a dedicated School Social Worker with a wealth of experience and a passion for advocating for both students and parents. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Temple University in 1993, and since then, she has been making a positive impact in the field of education.

Kim embarked on her journey as a School Social Worker in 1998 and obtained her School Social Worker Certification the same year. Her commitment to the well-being of students and families is evident in her extensive career, spanning over two decades.

In addition to her professional achievements, Kim is a devoted mother of two special needs children, providing her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families in the education system. This personal experience fuels her advocacy work, particularly in the realms of Parent Advocacy, Special Education Law, and facilitating Parent Support Groups.

Beyond her professional and parental responsibilities, Kim finds joy and balance in various interests. She is an avid runner, Long Beach Island (LBI) holds a special place in her heart, and she also enjoys immersing herself in a good book and the world of Netflix.
