Chelsea DeRitis began her career at Burlington County Special Services School after graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware. While working as a teacher in the Autism Program at Special Services Chelsea discovered her passion for ABA and obtained her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Drexel University. After obtaining her Master’s, Chelsea transitioned from classroom teacher to Behavior Consultant at Special Services where she had the opportunity to work with and program for students ages 5-21. In 2023, Chelsea continued to follow her passion for supporting student’s social/emotional/behavioral learning at North Hanover School District working as a Behavior Specialist. During this time Chelsea has been providing tiered support to students with social/emotional/behavioral needs; including creating and implementing behavior intervention plans, providing social skills lessons, and supporting students in and out of the classroom setting.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband and their family and friends, reading, baking, and watching Steeler Football.
