All New Jersey public schools participated in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) test last spring. Click here to access the district PARCC presentation summarizing our students' results from this new state test in English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics. This first year of testing was a transition year for the State of NJ.

These online tests were designed to replace the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJ ASK) and to match the content and skills outlined in the Common Core State Standards adopted by the State of New Jersey. The school and district’s performance levels, may look lower this year. These new tests were designed to measure student achievement against more rigorous standards. Therefore, these scores cannot be compared to previous test scores.  Instead, they are setting a new baseline from which progress shall be measured moving forward.
