This page has been established to provide information to our parents, prospective parents, community members and individuals planning to move into the district. Ths site contains information regarding the district's philosophy and school policies. In addition, the district's curricula and the web sites of our current textbook publishers are listed and linked. The district's handbook that includes the required immunizations and general rules and regulations of the district can be viewed. The district and individual school calendars and daily cafeteria menus have been posted. In addition, the names and email addresses of the faculty and many interesting links are available to the public.

As a district, we offer an academic program which places emphasis on the development of reading, language arts, and math skills in the primary grades. These skills are reinforced with the teaching of social studies and science which all student receive. Also, at the primary level, students receive instruction in the use of the computer, art, music, library science, health and physical education.

In the upper grades, the academic program builds on the skills that have been developed in the earlier grades. Again, students receive instruction in computer education, art, music, library science, health and physical education. The students in fifth and six grades receive daily instruction in computer education for eighteen weeks. In addition, science is taught everyday for forty-five minutes.

The philosophy of meeting the needs of all students is a mandate for the North Hanover Township Schools. Students with special needs are identified, and programs are offered in the areas of special education, gifted and talented (general academic, music and art) and basic skills.
